Supply Chain Management

One of the areas where we have considerable expertise is in the development of Health & Safety Procedures and Policies in applications where multiple parties (often sub-contractors or main contractors) are involved in ongoing new build or refurbishment projects.

The main contractor or owner of the premises will ultimately be responsible for the unsafe or unhealthy acts of others; unless it can be determined that adequate policy or monitoring procedures had been previously put into practice.

Unfortunately though, even if the owner employs an expert or specialist contractor and there is an accident, they will often be held wholly partially to blame.

Our own experience in helping main contractors, site owners and premises managers includes advice, monitoring and training in literally hundreds of onsite situations.

We operate across all business types and areas and are currently giving policy and operational advice to organizations’ in a range of sectors, including: oil refineries; television outside broadcasts; hospitals; commercial buildings; construction sites and drug manufacturing plants.  Our Supply Chain Management consultancy covers advice and support within:

Management of Health & Safety risk

Access and scaffolding and working at heights

Monitoring of Safe Working Compliance

Disposal of waste

Environmental good practice

Transport

Driving safe policy

In all cases we work with our clients to develop a cost effective and sensible strategy to suit their individual situations.  This may include:-

  • Assistance with Health & Safety Policy
  • Reviewing Hazards
  • Quantification Risk Monitoring
  • Training
  • Supervision of on site construction

We can help clients to detect changing hazards on premises, and work with them to develop healthy, safe and economical procedures to meet legal compliance.
